Dec 15: New Year’s Eve at De Luca Piano Bar in Cambridge

Robin P-iano, one of the UK’s top piano entertainers, will welcome in the New Year at the De Luca piano bar in Cambridge. Finishing off the piano bar’s first full year in action, this unique entertainment offering has quickly become Cambridge’s most fashionable and fun nights out.

On New Year’s Eve access to the piano bar is exclusively for diners and tickets include a five-course meal.

Dec 15: Pinstripe Reduit residency at new Oriole in London

Pinstripe Reduit swing quartet, smaller sister to the Pinstripe Suit six-piece swing band, starts a new residency in December.

The band will perform on the 1st Thursday of every month at one of London’s hottest and eagerly anticipated venues: Oriole bar, sister to the massively popular and award-winning Nightjar speakeasy in Shoreditch.

Pinstripe Reduit features piano/vocals, saxophone/clarinet, bass and drums and performs much of the same repertoire that has made Pinstripe Suit one of the most entertaining swing bands on the UK swing scene.

The first performance at Oriole bar is on Thursday 3rd December.

Dec 15: Christmas jazz lunches at Dog & Duck

The Dog & Duck pub in Linton is hosting three Christmas jazz lunches featuring Robin Phillips in trio format. The lunches take place on Weds 2nd, 9th, and 16th December and start at 12noon. Pre-booking is essential.

Nov 15: Robin Phillips Trio returns to London’s Crazy Coqs

The Robin Phillips Trio returns to the circular art deco performance lounge ‘Crazy Coqs’ within Brasserie Zedel in Piccadilly Circus in London. The late night jazz series hosts some of the UK’s top names and the trio are excited to be returning for their third visit. Nov 15: Vocalese workshop & performance at Cambridge Jazz Festival

Robin Phillips will host a vocalese workshop as part of the Cambridge Jazz Festival on Sunday 22nd November. The free workshop will give insight into the art of vocalese jazz singing, what it is, how it developed, and practical exploration of learning existing vocalese songs and working on original vocalese for future study. The workshop is open to all singers but especially for those with some experience of jazz singing and also scatting.

Following his vocalese workshop, singer/pianist Robin Phillips will be joined by Joel Humann on bass and Louis Thorne on guitar for a performance including songs from previous albums and his forthcoming album project.

Oct 15: Robin returns to Archduke jazz bar on Southbank

Robin returns to the popular London Southbank jazz bar The Archduke for a late-night jazz performance on Saturday 31st October. Starting at 10pm, the quartet will include Robin (piano / vocals), Ollie Weston (sax), Joel Humann (bass), and Andy Trim (drums). Sept 15: repmusic studio provides music for Orchard Toys 1st app

repmusic studio is proud to have provided all the music and sound-effects for the first ever app from renowned children’s toy company Orchard Toys.

repmusic provided a number of original music samples for the company to choose from and then developed longer versions of each selected tune to suit the app’s games. This was followed by the creation of sound-effects to be used in-game.
