Aug 2015: RPT performs for Jazz FM at Amy Winehouse screening
On Monday 24th August, the Robin Phillips Trio will perform for Jazz FM at the Royal Academy of Arts’ screening of the new documentary ‘Amy’ about Amy Winehouse. Featuring Robin on piano and vocals, Jay Darwish on bass and Alex Best on drums, the trio will perform before the screening and feature their own versions of songs recorded by Amy Winehouse, such as Moody’s Mood For Love (also recorded by Robin on Sing. Play.. for Pleasure), Tears Dry On Their Own, and There Is No Greater Love. Jazz FM are media partners and choose the trio especially for the event.

July 2015: Robin Phillips Trio performs at Jazz at the Pavilion
On Sunday 26th July, the Robin Phillips Trio will perform for the first time at the annual ‘Jazz at the Pavilion’ jazz festival in Orford, Suffolk. June 2015: Robin Phillips Trio returns to Crazy Coqs
Following a successful debut in February, the Robin Phillips Trio has been asked to return to perform at the prestigious late-night jazz show at Crazy Coqs, on Saturday 27th June. June 2015: Robin Phillips Trio to perform on The World
The Robin Phillips Trio has been selected to perform on one of the world’s most exclusive mega yachts. The World is a residential ship where apartment owners spend months or years at a time discovering the globe. The Robin Phillips Trio will travel with the mega yacht from Trieste to Dubrovnik performing for eight nights in June. Robin will be joined by Jay Darwish on bass and Ollie Weston on sax. May 2015: repmusic studio comes online
Following months of renovation work and installation of new equipment, the repmusic studio is now open for business. It will primarily be used for repmusic artists to record demos and albums, but will also be offered to the general public for their own recording purposes, with sessions including a sound engineer and producer. The studio is piano-focussed with a 1976 Yamaha U3 piano and Nord Electro 5D keyboard. The studio also uses Neumann, Avantone, and Rode microphones. Click here for the studio page..
May 2015: Robin flies to Ibiza for one-night special
Robin Phillips will be travelling to Ibiza in May for a special one-night only private solo jazz performance in an exclusive villa. Robin’s reputation is spreading across Europe and this will be his first performance on the sunny island.

The De Luca piano bar in Cambridge, programmed and run by repmusic, is expanding its piano entertainment schedule to include Saturday nights. Every Friday and Saturday from May there will be lively piano shows featuring some of the best piano entertainers in the UK!

After almost 10 years a new repmusic website is long overdue. The new website will incorporate social media, make finding specific genres easier, and include all the information about rep music’s latest offerings, such as recording studio and teaching.
