Not to be taken too seriously, Robin has developed a performance covering the famous old songs from the Capital.
Cockney sing-a-longs were rated as the number one thing to do before you leave London by Time Out magazine in 2008, in a piece that featured Robin.
Songs performed by Robin during his cockney performances include Maybe It’s Because I’m A Londoner, Roll Out The Barrel, Lambeth Walk and Any Old Iron. Robin also includes some popular Chas ‘n’ Dave songs in these shows because if he didn’t, someone would always ask for them.
Performances can be tailored to include the audience with song-a-long sheets giving them the chance to sing at the top of their lungs and have a jolly good knees up.
Popular with traditional venues and staff parties, Robin’s foray into the cockney sing-a-long has developed purely through demand and seems to be as popular as ever.
